The Texas 4-H Council is a team of 4-H members elected by their peers from across the state of Texas representing the 12 Texas A&M AgriLife Extension districts plus an additional 6 at-large delegates, elected by any senior level 4-H member across the state. The Texas 4-H Council members serve as ambassadors for the Texas 4-H program. As a recipient of a Texas 4-H Foundation Opportunity Scholarship you must meet certain requirements to keep your scholarship in good standing. This handbook is designed to help you understand your responsibilities as a scholar recipient. If you have any questions about your scholarship, please call the Texas 4-H Foundation office at 979-845-1213. The 4-H starts in September and ends in August each year.
