SKS were never sold as parts kits, disassembled for importation, or otherwise made in to a “parts kit” format. The only way a parts kit for one would exist is by an individual either disassembling an existing rifle or someone creating reproduction parts. Its not really feasible to put together an SKS from a parts kit.

If everything is clean, then do a dry wipe of the area, and reassemble, you are good for a few thousand rounds. The whole point of the Murray's firing pin is to prevent the possibility of slam fires. While you can accomplish the same thing by keeping the original firing pin clean, using a Murray pin eliminates the possibility altogether.
